HOW TO DO IT

firstly preheat the oven to 175 degrees (ours is a fan assisted oven). Next quarter fill a saucepan with water and put on a high heat on the hob, putting a bowl on top of this with the butter and chocolate in it and stir until fully melted. We just used a blue, plastic bowl and we broke up the chocolate bar in squares before putting it in as well. Whilst you wait for it to melt, crack 3 eggs into a mixing bowl and add the sugar with it.

Whisk the sugar and egg on a high speed for a good couple of minutes until it becomes mousse like and doubles in size. Once the chocolate has melted, take the chocolate off the heat to let it cool down. Then once the sugar and egg have finished whisking around, add the melted chocolate and butter to the mix, folding it in until its a good chocolatey colour.

Next sithe the cocoa powder and flour into the big mix and gently fold it all in together. Once that's done, line a tray with baking paper and pour the mixture in. Put it in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, we put ours in just over 20 minutes; but you can decide how you would like to do it!

Whilst that's in the oven, start to cut open your creme eggs in half. Don't worry if it's not perfect, ours certainly weren't! Once you've cooked the brownie to your satisfaction, get it out so you can start putting your creme eggs on the top - definitely the fun bit! Start placing your cut creme egg halves on top, gently pushing down until the eggs have slightly sunken into the brownie. Then put it back in the oven for another 5-10 minutes, we put ours in for 8-9 minutes. AND OUILA! Leave the brownies to cool when they come out before you eat could be very hot!

How gorge do they look? They're super yummy, it's just a lovely Easter treat that everyone can enjoy.
