I Fell In Love With Positano.
I've been back from my dream holiday for a week today, my tan has faded considerably and my holiday bubble has well and truly burst. Let's be honest, frozen pizza and pasta from Asda, just isn't the same. Also it's quite nice to be away from an active volcano that could erupt at any minute. But good news for you guys, the travel content is just beginning.
My boyfriend and I flew to Naples and spent a beautiful week along the Amalfi Coast, we stayed in Sorrento but spent some time in Capri, Amalfi and Positano as well. We booked our trip via Thomson - something we always do for our summer hols mainly for peace of mind and free transfers. Sorrento is around a two hour transfer from Naples featuring plenty of crazy driving, windy roads that'll make you feel sick and the feeling that you're going to topple off the mountain and into the sea at any time (selling it, aren't I?). We stayed in Grand Hotel Vesuvio and upgraded to a sea view room so worth it for those stunning views of Mt Vesuvius. If you're planning on visiting Sorrento anytime soon, make sure you get that Mt Vesuvius view, tiny details like this make for a perfect holiday.
WHAT TO EXPECT NEXT
I'm planning on making my own Italian Series, complete with imagery and tips on where to go, what to do and most importantly where to eat divided into all the locations we visited along the Amalfi Coast. I took thousands of pictures altogether on my DSLR, my iPhone and my GoPro so expect picture-heavy content. I also filmed a bit as well, I'm working on a couple of short videos to go with my photography so you can get a real feel for the Amalfi Coast and all it has to offer. I think it's going to be something special so make sure you keep checking back here.
Ciao for now!
